Interviews

''As someone who is half Dutch-French and Russian, raised in Switzerland, I have always thrived in multi-cultural environments and relish the diverse perspectives of my global clientele. Combining my international outlook and passion for graphic and interior design, I have built a career specialising in high-impact visual solutions that elevate the client experience. My approach is deeply personal, focusing on understanding the style and aspirations of each client to create functional and aesthetically compelling spaces. Probably my favourite part of my work is the hands-on approach and taking my clients on a journey. From conceptualising layouts, selecting furniture pieces, experimenting with colour and textures, I love helping the client achieve their vision, whilst also making a connection with them to foster a sense of harmony and timeless elegance''.

You spent seven years at Aiglon, how was it growing up in the mountains?

''It remains a great privilege to have lived and studied at Aiglon, and to have spent my formative years in the mountains. It is where I developed a love of nature, and honed my skiing skills to compete in Aiglon colours all around Europe''.

What did you study after graduation?

''I exchanged Aiglon for the Big Apple, and studied at the Parsons School of Design, attaining my BA in Communication Design in 2016. My adventures then took me to Milan for my Masters in Interior Design in 2017. From this launch pad, my career took me to Paris, Dubai, and finally settling in Geneva in 2020, where I live and work to this day''.

How did you get into interior design?

''I’ve always had a passion for art - graphic design and interior decoration in particular. These were the foundations on which I built my studies and career!''.

What tips would you share with someone wanting to dive into this field?

''It might sound cliché, but trust your instinct and follow your passion! It is what I did, and I know deep down it was the decision for me!''.

What has been a career highlight so far?

''I take such pleasure from supporting my clients through their projects, helping them achieve their objectives, and in some cases, their dreams!''.

How was it setting up your business?

''Whilst working in Geneva, I began to design, and ultimately launch, RPZ DESIGN. This start-up - now my business - specialises in graphic design and luxury interiors. As my interior and design entrepreneurial journey has developed, I have had the opportunity to work on projects for a brasserie restaurant, a yacht sushi bar, a honey company, an art gallery, publications, weddings, and people’s homes across the world''.
